Respite Program

To help you maintain a quality of life at home or get a little break.

The Valoris respite program is offered to adults with an intellectual disability, with or without physical limitations, and to children with an intellectual disability, a physical disability, a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder or frail health. The respite program is available to families living in the Prescott-Russell territory. The program helps children and adults live at home with their family by offering them, for a determined period, financial assistance to obtain respite services.

The funds dedicated to the respite program are limited. It is our goal to offer the program to all families who request it. However, it is possible that due to limited funding, a family may find itself on a waiting list for a given period of time.
