Residential Services
All residential service programs are funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services.
Our residential services promote community integration, which helps enrich the lives of adults. All of our residential services comply with established standards. We work closely with the biological family to maintain family connections and the individual’s day-to-day activities.
A team of qualified and bilingual staff offer support and services adapted to each individual’s needs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The residences are located in the heart of communities throughout Prescott-Russell, and are safe and welcoming.
We offer support services to independent adults who want to live in an apartment on their own or with a roommate. We offer different services to help adults carry out certain day-to-day tasks, such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, housekeeping and financial management.
The host family program helps adults with developmental disabilities find a family-type environment that will offer them care, support and safety, while enabling them to harmoniously integrate into the community and grow. Host family placements are based on the development of mutual and enriching relationships that enable adults to enjoy an excellent quality of life.
We believe that it is important for every individual to feel comfortable in their own home. We always keep the individual and their family at the centre of decisions concerning them, in order to create a comfortable environment adapted to their needs.
