Valoris Once Again Recognized as a Leader in Mental Health
Valoris for Children and Adults of Prescott-Russell is pleased to announce that it has successfully renewed its accreditation with the Canadian Centre for Accreditation (CCA) for the next four years.
Valoris is the only accredited children's mental health agency in Prescott-Russell and has provided 953 mental health services last year alone to more than 781 youth and children. Valoris had previously received the accreditation in 2019.
CCA accreditation is a legitimate seal of approval. It is a validation process in which community service agencies are assessed by a third party against a comprehensive set of mandatory standards and best practices. The process is designed to ensure that the agency maintains the highest levels of professionalism, commitment to service, and a continuous culture of learning and assessment, closely monitored on an ongoing basis. By choosing to undergo the CCA accreditation process, Valoris demonstrates its accountability to the community and its commitment to providing programs and services of the highest quality.
"This remarkable result has been achieved thanks to the hard work, professionalism and dedication of our staff and Board of Directors. It is also a way of demonstrating to youth and families receiving services and fund providers that we operate responsibly and provide quality services geared to our clients’ needs. Thank you to everyone involved, from near and far, for your commitment and efforts that led to this success," shared Caroline Granger, Executive Director of Valoris for Children and Adults of Prescott-Russell.
The Canadian Centre for Accreditation (CCA) offers an accreditation program ideally suited to community organizations which is based on accepted organizational practices that support quality improvement and effective, responsive community services. The accreditation process includes on-site visits by a review team that makes observations, conducts interviews, reviews documents, and draws on the results of surveys completed by community partners and other stakeholders.
