Valoris Employees Step Up to Help Food Banks in Prescott-Russell

Prescott-Russell - May 20, 2020. - Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, seven of the ten food banks in the Prescott-Russell region are in need of non-perishable food items to help families. Last April, the Valoris Foundation organized two food drives to help food banks and sought the help of Valoris for children and adults of Prescott-Russell’s employees. In total, the mobilization of Valoris employees allowed to collect more than $3000 in donations and food items!

This campaign helped support and comfort many families in the region during this period of stress and uncertainty.

“Most of Valoris employees live in Prescott-Russell. They are invested in their community both professionally and personally. You can immediately tell when you look at what has been collected in such a short period!” explains Hélène Fournier, Executive Director of Valoris.

The unity, teamwork and the devotion of the Valoris Foundation and Valoris employees have had a positive impact on the lives of many individuals and families in the Prescott-Russell region.

Throughout the year, the Valoris Foundation supports children, youth and families in their community with initiatives such as this one.
