A New Website for Valoris!
Valoris for Children and Adults of Prescott-Russell launches a new website. A new visual identity, an easier navigation, a section dedicated to the Valoris Foundation and a restructuration of the content around topics and issues that affect the community are some of the improvements made.
The redesign of the Valoris website aims to make the organization's services more accessible and easier to understand. The new website is designed to be as useful to a parent looking for appropriate services for their child, as it is to a teenager with a more specific information need, or to a community member for more general questions.
"People's needs are changing and so are the ways in which they are met. For us, offering quality services that meet these needs is not only done through the human approach of our professionals, but also by offering relevant information. With this new website, we are reaching our target: to give the population of Prescott-Russell a credible and up-to-date source of information in a reassuring presentation," said Hélène Fournier, Executive Director at Valoris.
Among the improvements is a "need help" button that allows users to quickly contact Valoris, whether on their mobile device, tablet or computer. The division of content by topic also helps users to search through content more quickly. Moreover, two themes are addressed to two different target audiences, namely "Information for parents" and "Information for youth.”
In addition to a completely revamped events section and the creation of FAQs for certain topics, the Valoris website now offers users the option of subscribing to a newsletter.
"This addition to the website is our way of creating an additional bond with the community. Yes, we offer services, but we can also provide credible and verified information on various topics of concern to them. The current COVID-19 period shows us that we need to be present on many fronts, not just face-to-face," says Madeleine Lalonde, Director of Quality and Information Systems.
