The Communities That Care (CTC) program promotes sound development of children and youth in Prescott-Russell.

CTC is a prevention system for communities. It is a group of people in your community who work to promote healthy development in children and youth in Prescott-Russell. CTC aims to prevent and reduce delinquency, school drop-out, substance abuse, teen pregnancy and violence among youth.

The CTC program favours the community approach to achieving positive change. Community prevention committees have been set up in the Embrun, Clarence-Rockland and Hawkesbury areas. Those committees consist of parents, volunteers, youth and representatives of local agencies, all working together on behalf of Prescott-Russell youth.

CTC SCHOLARSHIPS
CTC Clarence-Rockland and CTC Embrun are offering scholarships to recognize youth involvement (volunteering) in the community. Each scholarship is remitted directly to their post-secondary institution to cover a part of the fees for the fall semester. Click here for more information about these scholarships.

Every year, several activities are organized by the three difference CTC groups. To find out more about CTC or its activities, call us at 1 800 675-6168.
